Whether on the Village nature trails, Arkansas’ mountain trails or secluded scenic roads, cycling is one of the best ways to get outdoors and see the beauty of Arkansas. Explore routes of varying degrees and difficulty like the challenging hills of the Epic Womble Trail, Cedar Glades Mountain Bike Park in Hot Springs or simply pedal across Arkansas on rural roads that take you from one historic town to the next.

Cyclist also enjoy the pedestrian-bicycle bridge in Little Rock linking 14 miles of the Arkansas River Trail.


DeSoto Family Recreation Area

The DeSoto Family Recreation Area is fun for all ages featuring playground equipment, mini golf, and, basketball and pickleball courts. The playground, mini golf and basketball courts are available for use at no charge, but players must bring their own equipment. A covered picnic pavilion and charcoal grill are just behind the nearby DeSoto Multipurpose Hall and are available on a first come basis.

Dog Park & RV Park

Hot Springs Village’s Dog Park is a gated, off-leash park for well-behaved and healthy dogs. The site is approximately 1.5 acres of level open area and divided into two sections for use by large and small dogs. The park contains benches, watering stations, waste receptacles and shade pavilions.

The Hot Springs Village RV Park offers ten parking pads for recreational vehicles with electrical hookups. Water hookups are available from Apr 15 - Oct 31. Grills and picnic tables are provided at each site. Reservations required.

Fitness Center

Situated on the shores of Lake Coronado, the Fitness Center is a full workout facility with a large fitness room, three-lane walking track, exercise classroom, a 25-meter heated indoor pool, whirlpool, steam room, sauna and massage therapy.

Work out on the treadmills, bikes, elliptical machines and steppers while watching television or enjoying a view of Lake Coronado. Join a yoga, Zumba, spin, Pilates, water aerobics or triathlon training class.

Veteran’s Memorial & Look Out Point

The Hot Springs Village Veterans Memorial features a “Walk of Honor” which contains over 3600 bricks with Veterans’ names and service on them. All branches of the services are represented: Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines and Coast Guard.

Look Out Point in Hot Springs Village is a resident and guest favorite picnic spot. The Ouachita Mountain view is beautiful.


Woodlands Auditorium

The Woodlands Auditorium in Hot Springs Village is our Performing Arts Center. The 654-seat theater features state-of-the-art sound and lighting, and, is host to approximately 75 cultural and entertainment events including Broadway-style musicals, drama, dance, vocal and choral productions.
